In 2006, the Tav Economic Group was established a vehicle scrapping center to modernize the transportation fleet through the recycling of used cars. In line with the implementation of this plan, relevant companies were launched in Tehran, Alborz, Fars, Isfahan, and Bushehr provinces.
The industrial companies’ group is considered to be one of the first and oldest groups of the Tav Economic Group. Since its inception, Tav Economic Group’s sub-group has been committed to upholding the principles of social responsibility. They have not only replaced old cars but also significantly reduced air pollution and preserved the environment since the establishment of these companies.
In 2014, Tav Economic Group’s scrapping centers have reached a turning point and began to prosper. The group’s primary achievement was obtaining a 40% share of the country’s used car recycling. In the same year, Tav Economic Group was awarded a certificate of appreciation for being among the top companies in the industry.
